He was born in 1969, in Kayseri. He completed his primary and secondary schools in Kayseri TED Collage. Between 1986-1993 years he graduated from Medical Faculty of Marmara University. He completed his eye specialization in Denizli Pamukkale University between 1994-1998 years. He performed a duty in Denizli State Hospital between 1998-2007 years, in the same time in Denizli Laser Eye Center between 1999-2006 years.

In 2006, he established Vizyongöz Hospital, where was specialized in eye. He is still doing Chairman of The Board and Responsible Directoring of Vizyongoz Hospital.

Doctor Önder Demirtaş has participated in concerts across the country with the music group 'The Voice of the Group Cornea' under the name of a social responsibility project to encourage organ donation in our country. He is a Bağlama(A kind of traditional instrument) artist and composer who has taken bağlama(, note and solfeggio lessons) for many years. Other hobbies include the art of cooking, table tennis, archery and reading.
