In general, the responsibilities of the patients and their relatives before and after applying to a health facility are described as PATIENT RESPONSIBILITIES.

People should do their utmost for paying attention to their health and follow the advice given for a healthy life.
In simple situations, people should do their cares.
The patient must report changes in social security and personal information in a timely manner.
The patient should give full informations about his / her complaints, previous illnesses, whether he / she has been treated by inpatient treatment, his / her medications, if any, and his / her health.
TO OBEY THE HOSPITAL RULES
The patient should obey the practices of the health facility he / she is referring to.
The patient should cooperate with healthcare providers during treatment and care.
If the patient is taking advantage of a health institution that provides an appointment, the date and time of the appointment must be obeyed, and the changes should be reported to the relevant place.
The patient must respect the rights of hospital staff, other patients and visitors.
The patient must pay for the damage to hospital materials.
The patient should listen carefully to the recommendations for treatment and medication and ask where he / she could not understand.
If the patient is unable to comply with the recommendations regarding his / her treatment, he / she should inform the healthcare professional.
The patient should state whether he / she understands correctly the care plan for treatment and discharge.
The patient is responsible for the consequences of his refusal of treatment and for not abiding the recommendations.
